CHIN-YEE LAI DESIGN

Chin-Yee Lai is a distinguished book designer whose work has graced a variety of publications thanks to her elegant style and ability to innovate. Born in Malaysia, Chin-Yee moved to the United States as a teenager and graduated from the School of Visual Arts. She is currently the Creative Director at Basic Books and Seal Press, imprints of Hachette Book Group, and has run Chin-Yee Lai Design since 2001.
